Our staff are all fully trained and have monthly supervision, our attachment focus continues through all our training
We have a no uniform policy…we want our young people to feel comfortable & sometimes a uniform just doesn’t suit everyone.
Fees-these are based on each young person’s needs & the provision set out in their EHCP, please get in touch with us to discuss
Making sure our cohort works together is imperative, so everyone is taken into account when we consider a new young person joining us
We value our parents/carers and their opinions
We have access to excellent Speech & Language, OT & Clinical Psychologist and additional therapeutic professionals, if appropriate
Safeguarding is paramount to Nurture Learning, all our policies ensure we practice safer recruitment in checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children; raise awareness of child protection issues and equip children with the skills needed to keep them safe. We recognise that because of day to day contact, staff are well placed to identify concerns early. We will therefore establish and maintain an environment where children feel safe, secure, valued and respected and are encouraged to talk, believing they will be listened to; ensure children know that there are adults at school whom they can approach if they are worried; include opportunities in the curriculum, for children to develop the skills they need to recognise and stay safe from abuse and to know who they should turn to for help.
