Our remote education policy can be downloaded here.
Our setting is fully open, as all our pupils qualify for a school place during the current lockdown, as of January 2021. However, if a pupil cannot attend school during this time they can expect to have their education delivered remotely, as the above policy stipulates.
Our named senior leader with overarching responsibility for the quality and delivery of remote education, including that provision meets expectations for remote education is Sarah Fernihough. If you have any concerns with the quantity or quality of your child’s remote education, please free to contact Sarah and discuss.
We are routinely testing staff and secondary age pupils, who consent, with Lateral Flow Devices, to pick up asymptomatic cases of Covid 19. As we are a whole school bubble (due to the size of our school cohort) and not all pupils are eligible for testing, we will revert to remote teaching for all pupils if cases are detected; returning to face to face teaching as quickly as is possible.
